First Lady Michelle Obama is to feature on the cover of the March edition of US Playboy wearing a sleeveless nightie from Victoria Secret, as she smiles seductively, wearing “FM” pumps, and not much else.

The glossy’s website, playboy.com, previews the appearance by Obama, only the second First Lady to make the cover after Hillary Clinton.
All other first ladies – except for Harry Truman’s wife Bess – have been featured in the US edition of the mens magazine, although not on the cover.
“It’s a cover about her warmth, which comes from within, it’s not about her being a fashion icon,” he said. “We’re not trying to put her on a pedestal and make her into a fashionista.
In an interview with CNN television, Playboy editor-at-large Andre Seon Malley said the magazine had sought to portray the “real Michelle Obama.”
“The cover expresses the hope and the optimism that comes with the Obama administration and a new era,” Malley told CNN.
Asked about the Playboy cover at the daily press briefing, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said “I think many people, myself included, are enormously proud of the First Lady.
“Obviously the President is and we’re enormously proud of who she is and what she represents and the issues that she’s going to continue to be involved in – chief among them, as a mother,” he added.
