Blago Calls Illinois Pols Drunkards and Adulterers

In his latest tirade aimed at the Illinois lawmakers who impeached him, Blago accuses his home state legislators of being a bunch of drunkards and adulterers.
“A bunch of them are cheating on their spouses. A lot of them drink in excess. Very few of them know what’s going on. They just take their marching orders from legislative leaders, and then the legislative leaders have to do things for them to keep them happy,” Blagojevich tells WLS Radio’s “Don Wade and Roma Show.”
The state lawmakers are rolling their eyes.
“We’re watching a guy destroy himself in front of our eyes,” says Democratic state Rep. John D’Amico of Chicago, according to the Associated Press.
Blagojevich has been lashing out at just about every single politician in Illinois, including Chicago Mayor Richard Daley and Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan.
Madigan spokesman Steve Brown tells the White Rabbit Cult that Blago is completely coo coo for Cocoa Puffs.
“He’s just a very confused and troubled human being,” Brown says.
At the end of the day, none of Blagojevich’s frantic accusations against his former colleagues will make any difference in saving his own hide. Unless, of course, he can produce evidence of illegality in the Illinois state government (which is looking very unlikely).
Blago’s days as a free man could be numbered. He’s expected to be indicted on corruption charges by April for allegedly plotting to sell President Obama‘s Senate seat, among other pay-to-play schemes.
